These are images of the Scottsdale Historical Museum from April 2023. The museum was closed for 3 years between 2020 and early 2023 due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the remodeling of Scottsdale Civic Center. It reopened in early February 2023. Access to the building has been improved with broader stairs and ADA-accessible ramps. Image CCL-HIS-2023-6237 shows a view point from the Winfield Scott memorial statue looking toward the museum.
In September 2021, a $27.3 million renovation of Scottsdale Civic Center (approved by a 2019 Bond Election) began. Due to inflation, the renovation cost was readjusted to $33.5 million.
