These images show the new Civic Center Library Youth Entrance. This entrance was created by taking emergency exit doors from the library's Youth Room and making them accessible from the outside. This entrance opens out into the Children's Garden which has swings, playground equipment and a splash pad. This entrance opened on June 5, 2023.
In September 2021, a $27.3 million renovation of Scottsdale Civic Center (approved by a 2019 Bond Election) began. Due to inflation, the renovation cost was adjusted to $33.5 million. This renovation included the Children's Garden and the new entrance to the Youth Room at Civic Center Library.
