Summary:	On October 7, 1995, Scottsdale citizens participated in sprucing up Scottsdale by painting or landscaping work as part of the "Keep Scottsdale Beautiful" campaign. The Scottsdale Pride Commission (1993-2011) helped organize the "Keep Scottsdale Beautiful" city-wide community clean-up events. When the commission was dissolved, some of its commissioners and Scottsdale Leadership alumni created a non-profit Keep Scottsdale Beautiful and absorbed many of the former commission’s responsibilities.
