STOP, FAST, SLOW explores Arizona and how we get around our cities and in between. Traveling in Arizona is beautiful, gritty, hot, cold, running fast, and draggingly slow. People in the southwest know how long it takes to get from place to place, but not always what the actual measurable distance is. But people all have ideas on the best way to travel the distances presented between the places we are and where we want to be.
Stop, Fast, Slow is an exhibition of Arizona artists who respond to how we get around our Arizona cities and in between- blacktop and concrete, dirt roads and trails, freeways and interstates, sitting in traffic, on the bus and train, or cruising the bike lane, from cityscapes to desert and mountain views, high rise buildings to historic bungalows.
